Heat problem
The system is moving air but not removing heat. In Central Florida that usually points to a failed capacitor, a refrigerant leak, a dirty outdoor coil, or an indoor coil that has iced over.
Swap the filter and make sure the outdoor unit is running. If the indoor lines look frosted, switch to fan-only so the coil can thaw.
Moisture problem
The house is reaching temperature without drying out. Common causes: a system sized too large that shuts off before it can pull moisture, the fan left on ON, or low airflow across the indoor coil.
Set the thermostat fan to AUTO, not ON. With ON, water on the coil is blown back into the house.

Short cycling wears out the compressor and leaves humidity behind. It usually traces to an oversized system, a failing thermostat, low refrigerant, or a unit tripping on a safety limit.
